Your Role: The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the engineering structure, business case, organisation, timing and governance.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Various roles open
  • Support all Engineering Management activities.
  • Execute the project spec book
  • Develop the engineering roadmap, schedule and strategy where necessary.
  • Maintain business case data as created by respective departments and for internal presentation
  • Support resource planning through engineering.
  • Support meeting structure to include stakeholders
  • Create and maintain master timing plan and interpret departmental timing plans.
  • Implement decision making procedures.
  • Ensure necessary project governance.
  • Store and maintain engineering data.
  • Ensure due diligence is executed across engineering team.
  • Ensure programmes operates legally and without creating risk to company or its standing.
  • Support the Project Managers in delivering all engineering on-time and on budget.
  • Network with the wider INEOS organisation to maximise group leverage possibilities.

For the Project Engineer, we are looking for:

  • Candidates preferred from Programme or Engineering backgrounds.
  • Highly numerate and comfortable preparing sophisticated business cases or financial models.
  • Automotive engineering management know-how.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivery.
  • Able to build and maintaining productive relationships and mediate between stakeholders.
  • Excellent scheduling and long-term planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrable strategic thinker with experience of NPI (New Product Introduction).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in an international team. Significant travel may be required.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software and general IT systems.
  • English language is mandatory – German and French beneficial
