THE OPPORTUNITY

The Project Engineer will:

  • be accountable for the development and delivery of Engineering Projects (repairs and improvements) at all offshore and onshore sites for our Northern Assets to prolong the life of the Forties Pipeline System and ensure safe and reliable operation to 2040+
  • develop, plan and deliver the implementation of concurrent projects to achieve HSE goals, key performance indicators and recognised engineering standards
  • identify and manage uncertainty across the project portfolio, challenge contradictory working practices and propose improvements including leading safety reviews, risk assessments and investigations as required.

about you

You will bring:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in Oil and Gas sector; experience in construction and commissioning
  • BOSIET, Medical and MIST for offshore travel
  • Working knowledge of project processes and best practices
  • Working knowledge of relevant UK Regulatory and industry standards
  • An ability to work under pressure, with a drive for action, initiative and delivery
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

Ideally you may also have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status or be actively working to achieve chartered status
