- This is an exciting time to join us at our Grangemouth site, INEOS’ largest manufacturing asset, delivering many projects across all assets and turnarounds.
- The successful candidate will become part of the Project Services Team to support the delivery of a large portfolio of projects.
- The Project Services Team are looking for an experienced Document Controller with wider, flexible technical clerking skills in an engineering background.
- The position is initially a 6 months agency position, however the team are looking forward to a turnaround event in Q2 2024 and the contract is likely to be renewed to align with this target and beyond for the right applicant.
Primary Accountabilities
- Ensuring all project documents are managed in line with site procedures.
- Issuing and distribution of project documentation in accordance with agreed document distribution matrices (DDM’s) to ensure all current documents are relevant versions and available at point of use.
- Ensure documents both internally and from external sources are legible and identifiable.
- Checking dispatched documents and drawings are correctly formatted.
- Tracking and Reporting on Project Document Status and producing monthly KPI’s.
- Recording and Distributing Incoming Supplier & 3rd Party Documentation in site project Document Control system (QDMS).
- Interfacing with 3rd party design Document Control teams and Ineos Project Managers and Engineers.
- Maintaining project correspondence & project files.
- Upload drawings and documents to site DMS (Alfresco).
- Support the Factory Drawing Office (FDO) drawing print service.
Cover Accountabilities
- Update newly allocated tag numbers to Maximo and update details.
- Production of technical reports with ability to manipulate data into desired format.
- Support completions engineers with collation of punch lists, red line drawing and certification
Special Features
- May be required to work in turnarounds on extended days.
- Able to use Microsoft Office applications to a good level.
- Ability to understand project engineering terminology across all disciplines.
- Attention to detail and quality of documentation.
- Proactive, resourceful, ability to work on own and as part of a team, positive attitude, ability to influence, flexible approach to work.
