The Position:  Prolduction Supervisor  - Ensure the continuous operation of the Plant, through safe equipment, controlled processes and competent personnel in order to ensure product availability in terms of Quality and Volume according to the requirements of production schedule.

Requirements: 

Profile:  Level of education & knowledge:

Chemical engineer or Industrial engineer or Mechanic Engineer bachelor

Kknowledge:

Chemical reaction 

Process automation 

Methodology for continuous improvement (6 sigma, 8 Ds, HAZOP, RCA, Statistical Process Control).

Process Safety Industry Standard

Material Safety Data Sheets, Hazardous materials management, safety devices and interlock concept.

Basic knowledge of material specification, piping and instrumentation diagram interpretation

Technical skills:

Chemical plant process equipment and operation of that equipment in continuous processes

High familiarity with common industry practices such as Management of Change (MOC), Root Cause Investigation (RCI)

Statistical process improvement skills preferred

SAP System preferred

Wiindows operation system

English languaje (intermediate level)

Responsibilities: 

Production Volume

Daily review of production schedule and ensure compliance with production volume according to the established plan.

Reduce the amount of rework material according to strategic production objectives.

Personnel and Equipment integrity

Leadership and ensure compliance with standards and rules internal and external in safety topics.

Ensure application of Standard Operations Procedures to warranty the right operation of process equipment and all Copolymers Plant facility.

Quality Product

Ensure application of production recipes, process condition in order to achieve product quality in customer specificacions.

Implementation and process improvement to reduce scrap generation and production losses.

Operating efficiency.

Ensure Standard Operations Procedures are updated and implemented to all operations personnel

Keep process variables under control to ensure safety and reliability operation

Personnel effectiveness

Provides leadership to ensure goals achievements of his/her personnel

Ensures his/her personnel well qualified in order to comply job positions requirements and goals.
