The Role: To support and/or lead the administrative activities of the Procurement team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to join a business as it develops from inception, to creating a completely new vehicle and establishing a new brand. This job is full of variety, including some involvement in ad-hoc projects and general administration. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a successful team, develop your personal and professional skills and gain valuable experience. The role is flexible in terms of location and remote working can be considered.

What you will be doing:

  • To create Purchasing Requisitions (PR) and Tooling Orders (PO) in SAP.
  • To maintain supplier data within SAP and Allocation system, including set up of new partners.
  • To create and maintain a clear reporting structure on open and closed tasks.
  • Work closely with the Procurement team to enable increased process knowledge and relationship building.
  • To assist in scheduling appointments for the procurement team with external contacts & internal members of staff – this includes forward planning & scheduling any required papers, actions completed, preparing profiles / background for external meetings.

What we are looking for:

  • Completed University Degree (preferred)
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Office including Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Previous SAP exposure is mandatory, if possible, on SAP MM (S4/Hana)
  • Strong organisational & prioritisation skills, self-motivated, & able to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • Able to confidently demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Someone who is pro-active & take on challenging projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language written & spoken (German and/or other European languages are advantageous).
