The Position: Process Optimization Responsible - Asses existing utilities processes in Site (Filtered Water, Demineralized water, Cooling water, Steam, Natural gas, Nitrogen, Compressed Air & Waste Water Treatment) to implement and test new procedures to obtain the best results and streamline the use of resources
Requirements:
Level of education & knowledge: Chemical or Industrial Engineer or related careers.
Experience in general: At least 2 years of operational experience in chemical/petrochemical companies
Technical skills:
- Chemical Processes knowledge
- Process Safety knowledge
- Advanced Office skills
- SAP experienced preferred.
- Management of Resources
- English Languaje – Advanced level
Responsibilities:
- Improve programs and methodologies to optimize Utilities processesImprove programs and methodologies to optimize utilities processes.
- Short-term adjustments of projects or testing during implementation.
- Fileld conditions not suitable for the implementation of projects or testing
- To influence on personnel who do not report to the position
- Deviations in the process conditions that hinder the implementation of tests and / or projects.
- Lack of resources to implement a process optimization
- Unforeseen failures of process equipment
- Change in the scope of testing or project.
Physical Requirements:
This position must be able to do walk around to review the process in the Utilities Plant.
The incumbent will be required to perform frequently some work outside under hot conditions and noise areas and must usually ascend and descend stairs
The Location: This opportunity is located in Altamira Site, Altamira Tamaulipas, Mexico
