Process Manager EBSM (F/M)
Your job at INEOS STYROLUTION
As a Process Manager EBSM you ensure a safe, reliable and profitable operation of the EBSM plant in accordance with all internal and external regulations by continuous process optimization. In general you are involved in all process related activities of the plant.
More concrete this means that the Process Manager is mainly responsible for
- maintaining a robust process safety management system in co-working with the Site Process Safety Engineer,
- initiation and realization of short-, mid- and long-term process optimizations,
- maintaining an adequate catalyst performance,
- an efficient Management of Change process,
- the management of process related (CapEx)projects.
In addition you support the Production Manager in the day-to-day operation, among others, by analyzing process upsets and performing bad actor analyzes. Further on you play an important coordinating role in plant turnarounds and catalyst exchanges and you ensure that all relevant process related documentation is up to date and available in our data management system. If required you can take over process engineering related tasks within bigger projects.
Beside working within the operational EBSM team you interact with SHE department, finance department, EBSM technology group and, when needed, external partners and companies. You are member of the EBSM Plant Management Team and will be back-up for the Production Manager. As a Process Manager you report directly to the Plant Manager EBSM.
Required profile
- You have a master degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and ideally minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical process industry.
- You have experience in and deep understanding of process safety requirements, process optimization and process management.
- You have strong project management skills.
- You are an analytical thinker.
- You manage complex situations and complex operational issues in a result driven way.
- Cost consciousness, flexible and innovation driven are competencies that characterize you very well.
- As a team player, you take ownership and you can communicate with different levels of the organization.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
