Job Title:
Process Coordinator
The Asset Process Coordinator is a Subject Matter Expert for the designated Operating Area with Supervisory responsibilities and is responsible for the training functions within the unit operation. The Asset Process Coordinator provides training, leadership, and guidance to the core team members and support for the Shift Leadership. The Asset Process Coordinator will be qualified in all jobs in his/her operating area, understands and follows operating procedures to start-up, operate, and shutdown the process under both routine and emergency conditions. The Asset Process Coordinator assists with driving and verifying operating rigor; unit troubleshooting; reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements; optimization; and Meridium capability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensures optimized, reliable, safe, and compliant operations of the process units through day-to-day unit troubleshooting and technical assistance.
- Supports delivery of housekeeping, gun drills, troubleshooting, safe-offs, advanced controls, new equipment, and routine rounds & duties.
- Performs field and board walkthroughs with operators to ensure proper levels of competency.
- Drive shift training of new employees, refreshers and ensure operators build capability
- Delivers and signs off on performance evaluations as an instructor, and proctors written tests.
- Provides training feedback summary to trainee and to supervision.
- Helps to develop and maintain initial and refresher unit training plans and monthly tracking for each assigned operator.
- Integrates and communicates with technical team as needed and potential training.
- Leads operational rigor with Operators in:
- Procedure execution and compliance
- Control of Work expectations, activity, and audit/verification
- LOTO and Isolations
- Operator Rounds quality
- Shift Handover/E-Log quality
- Ensure KMS entries are made as warranted, assist in tracking action items to closure.
- Monitor operating envelope exceptions and document corrective actions with completion of KMS
entries.
- Interfaces between Engineering and Operations shift teams to support Reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements
- Meridium SME and ensures Meridium routes are completed, assists in follow-up of Meridium exceptions.
- Support planning/scheduling of work and preparation of LOTO procedure execution.
- Participate with unit personnel in walking out jobs, as needed.
- Participates in audits/assessments, documents, and shares with shifts/units.
- Provides support and input for projects through communication with operators.
- Must develop and maintain Shift Leader capability to support backfill capability on a scheduled or an emergency basis.
- Compliance with and promotion of different behavioral and process safety initiatives and measures – supporting 20 INEOS SHE Principles, IGGN’s, SHE KPI’s, risk assessments, etc. These initiatives are reviewed on yearly appraisals.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Degree required: HS Diploma or GED
- Operating Experience:10+ yrs.
- Certifications Required: None
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills in English
