To aid the delivery of projects and maintaining existing assets, we require a Process Control Engineer.

Your CV should make clear the control systems you have experience in using, and offer a summary of the types of applications you have developed.

About Our Opportunity

This is an exciting time to join us at our Grangemouth site. The site is undergoing a radical transformation with significant investment into the chemicals business in the order of £450m, securing long term feedstocks and delivering a number of synchronised projects.

These projects so far have included the successful commissioning of Europe’s largest shale gas ethane tank and completing the building of the new, state of the art Grangemouth headquarters.

Please note for this role we are only able to consider candidates who are eligible to live and work in the UK.

About You

You should:

  • Have extensive industrial experience in the field of process control applications, ideally gained in petrochemical and allied industries.
  • Be capable of design, build, test and commissioning of applications.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of SIS technology & legal requirements/standards.
  • Have knowledge and an understanding of alarm system and user interface guidelines.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills to communicate with Shift Operators, Operations Engineers, Management and third parties.
  • Have good team working skills.

You may also:

  • Be a Chartered Engineer.
