The Role: We are looking for a Order Fulfillment and Ramp-Up Lead who will conduct mid to long term planning in order to achieve a monthly/weekly gross planning for 9 months regarding production orders, capacity and material planning. Interface between S&OP and production planning to analyse capacity constraints and assure a levelled production plan. Ensures the smooth ramp up planning of a product lifecycle timeline for project phase and series production.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Establish production planning ramp up product profile for PTO/Series phase
- Plan, monitor and report the project ramp up timeline status highlighting activities leading to project milestones changes
- Follow action plans with Ramp-up project team members
- Assure visibility of Ramp-up project reporting status
- Analyze resource planning conflicts and related cause analysis
- Assure that capacity targets and restrictions are reflected to assure a balanced production plan
- Work with S&OP to analyse capacity constraints and assure a levelled production plan
- Check if imbalance is caused by under or over capacity
- Communicate requirements to S&OP, Production planning, HR and Industrialization
- Align Bill of Process with Industrialization as an input for the Production Plan
- Work with Programme Management team on PTO and S&OP for series processes to derive achievable supply and production plans.
- Align with Sales and Programme Management team on Product Structure definition
- Support on creation of Production Planning Master Data
- Support on the organization of the production schedules and creation of production orders
- Actively participate in elaboration of proposals to mitigate production constrains within SCM team
- Contribute to achieve OTD objectives (customer, x-plant, distribution).
- Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime on ramp up phase.
- Resolve competing requirements for common materials within planning, conflicting demand priorities within product management/customer service and production leadership in alignment with S&OP.
- Maintain reports for production program planning activities.
- To ensure capacity utilization is aligned with forecast demand
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
For the Order Fulfillment and Ramp-Up Lead, we are looking for:
- At least 3+ years Automotive experience (Tier 1-2 or OEM)
- 5+ years’ Experience in Logistics / Production
- Good understanding and interest in IT tools, especially SAP ERP/PP/iPPE or MES System
- Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or Economics preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge about latest standards and tools
- Process thinking
- Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
- Great project management skills experience with a proven track record of delivery
