Operational Planner – INEOS Aviation

INEOS Aviation provides bespoke corporate travel support for INEOS senior management and our worldwide operations. At the heart of our operations are an adaptable customer experience focussed operations team, delivering excellent service within the INEOS principles for safety, reliability and cost.

We are currently looking for an Operational Planner to join our organisation at our office in Lyndhurst. This is a permanent role, which may include weekend and occasional out of hours.

 

Role & Accountabilities

This is a business-critical role that ensures the business operates safely, in accordance with INEOS principles in a commercially astute manner.

  • Ensure the development of a positive safety culture through;
    • Ensuring SHE excellence is at the core of operational decision making
    • Identifying safety improvement opportunities and communicate them to the Safety Manager and Senior Management Team
    • Implement the relevant improvement opportunities identified in the annual Safety Improvement Plan
  • Rostering
    • Maintain, analyse and continuously improve the personnel rostering system to provide optimum performance and cost base for the organisation
  • Operational Planning
    • Develop and manage medium and long lookahead operational plans to provide efficient asset utilisation factoring in maintenance, training, personnel, business requirements and other relevant factors
    • Planning, arranging and Project Managing all aspects of future extended trips for Principals and large scale business events
  • Guest Experience
    • Develop and implement guest experience standards for INEOS Aviation
  • Supply Chain
    • Project manage the onboarding of third-party services to provide the optimal cost base for INEOS
    • Develop and maintain a network of third-party providers in order to provide business continuity for INEOS Aviation
  • Business Management
    • Maintain and develop business metrics, KPI’s and reporting systems to communicate business performance to EXCO in line with standardised INEOS reporting systems
    • Manage currency of company operations manuals
    • Identify business process improvement opportunities for consideration by the Senior Management Team
    • Implement business improvement opportunities agreed by the Senior Management Team

 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required

The successful candidate will be able to show the following:

Education:

  • Suitable qualification in organisational management and leadership
  • Suitable pilot or aircraft management qualification

Technical skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the behaviours and standards required to deliver world class service levels to guests and their representatives
  • Experienced in maintaining good relations with regulators
  • Robust knowledge of Supply Chain Management development, and Management
  • Competency for establishing and continuously improving SHE culture within the organisation
  • Analytical and IT Skills
