Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job:
SHE 30%
- Participate on regular safety training at site:
- Safety rules and guidelines
- Operating procedures
- Active support to the safety culture at site and works safely for incident free operation.
- Understand and follow annual SHE improvement plan for the site.
- Work in line with SHE KPIs and Targets set by management from time to time.
- Stop work whenever there is an unsafe condition and immediately inform the Shift Leader and/or Head of Department.
- Directly intervene with those in your working area not using PPE or not following INEOS Styrolution standards and procedures.
- Maintain the respective workplace in order and clean, as per best practices of housekeeping.
- Following and practicing INEOS 20 principles of Behavior Safety and Process Safety at site through site rules and procedures
- Following and practicing Life Saving Rules at site
- Involving the SHE activities.
Daily work for Operations team 60%
- The Operation Assistant is responsible for record the number of attendances.
- Make monthly work details and send statistics of staff attendance and work content to HR as the statistical basis of staff salary.
- Responsible for daily summary of the workshop production reports, daily work order sorting.
- Production data statistics sorting, report making
- Follow up the production delivery time, follow up the production status, deal with the abnormity, feedback the information result in time
- Assist to manage and distribute labor protection supplies for the field workers.
- Register and manage PPE for production staff.
- Ensure 5S management in working area
Documentation management 10%:
- Responsible for documentation management of training materials with site document controller
- Responsible for assist training coordinator to database on completed training, grade and comments by the examination per employee and scheduled training.
Required profile:
Level of education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 3 years experiences in related position
Physical skills:
- Must be able to infrequently (30-40%) stand, ascend and descend stairs.
- Must be able to frequently (60-70%) sit, walk
- Normal day work hours.
- Must be able to work inside 90% of the time and work outside 10% of the time.
- Must work alone 80% of the time and work with others 20% of the time.
- Must be able to infrequently work in extreme cold or heat and around high noise levels over 85 dB(A) when showing the installation or participate in practical training.
- May require ½ face respirator or full-face respirator as needed.
- Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, long sleeves, hearing protection, fall protection and other PPEs as warranted.
- Must be able to frequently work at a moderate pace.
- Must be able to occasionally work closely with co-workers, rely on the assistance of others to accomplish daily tasks and at a rapid pace.
- Must be able to complete and maintain Governmental required training for safety personal
- Must be able to compete and maintain INEOS process training for on-boarding
- Must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound. Must perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction.
Technical skills:
- Experience in petrochemical or chemical environment beneficial
- Strong computer skills for MS office products
- Well organized and detailed oriented for complete and accurate documentation
Competencies, Behavioral skills:
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbal and written
- Well writing and speaking skills in English and Chinese
