OPERATOR II - USA

Location:

Los Angeles, CA

Regular Schedule:

8 and / or 12 hour shifts. Day, night, or rotating shifts

Duties include but not restricted to:

• Follow all safety rules, regulations, operating procedures, work Instructions, corporate/plant policies & laws.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleaning in area to ensure a safe working environment
• Manufacture of resin blends, which includes charging raw materials, transferring resins to and from base resin storage and maintaining all associated logs and documentation
• Safely handling numerous liquid and solid raw materials used in the blending process by following established procedures and instructions
• Use of the Delta V process control system
• Loading finished product into 55 gal drums
• Proper handling and identification of hazardous waste
• Maintain training in safety, health and environmental procedures
• Operate process equipment such as valves, hoses, pumps, etc.
• Lift truck operation
• Participation in team efforts to improve safety, employee satisfaction, quality, and productivity

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to handling 50 lb. bags, walking/standing/lifting for prolonged periods, wearing respiratory equipment in accordance with the Respiratory Protection Plan
• Requires minimal supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good mathematical skills
• Must pass a drug screen test
• Ability to work with computers
• Authorized to work in the United States

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proven team and leadership skills
• Experience with SAP
• Experience in blending in a manufacturing environment
• Industrial Experience
