INEOS FPS
FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.
Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Manager the post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary Asset Management team and be responsible for the safe delivery of the operations of our assets.
Principle Accountabilities
- Control and manage field operations to maximise production and ensure compliance with maintenance plans. The provision of a safe workplace and protection of the environment being the key drivers for all decision making.
- Manage emergency and incident response and lead the Emergency Response Team to protect the well-being of personnel and the integrity of the installation
- Report daily to onshore management on performance against specific targets/objectives. Set priorities to achieve safety and business critical goals and ensure these are effectively communicated
- Provide clear direction and objectives for Offshore/Onshore/Site personnel and ensure that they are fully aware of their objectives and roles. Motivate and develop personnel to ensure engagement, efficiency and safety-awareness are embedded in the working culture
- Regular liaison with relevant onshore departments ensuring adequate flow and exchange of information
- Ensure safe working practices are implemented and that facilities are fit to meet statutory and EHS requirements
SPECIAL FEATURES
- The position is primarily an Offshore rotational role but periods of office based work in Aberdeen may be required. Rotational pattern is 2 weeks on/3 weeks off.
Qualifications and technical experience
- Demonstrate significant experience in a recent UK OIM position
- Demonstrate a combination of personal and operational acumen and experience e.g., people management, technical competence, commercial focus
- Significant experience and knowledge of the UKCS Offshore/Onshore legislation and Safe Systems of Work procedures
- MEMIR
- OPITO approved OIM assessment
- Current BOSIET/FOET or equivalent
