The Role: Merchandise Manager

Working closely with colleagues across the Commercial team as well as the wider business the Merchandise Manager will oversee and develop the Ineos Automotive merchandise programme. The Merchandise Manager will support the brand and product readiness of Grenadier by increasing brand and product visibility, supporting marketing activities, delivering key marketing messages, and bringing revenue into the business. The Merchandise Manager will also be the product owner for the merchandise e-shop, responsible for the online sales channel, as well as set up and ongoing management of associated digital infrastructure.

Duties of the Merchandise Manager:

  • Develop the global merchandise strategy to include product and price positioning, product direction, customer targeting, sales channel focus, and sales KPIs
  • Engage with external brands on the delivery of co-branded products
  • Accurately forecast and manage the merchandise budget, support the wider product team in forecasting and budgeting activities when required
  • Work closely with the Marketing communications team on campaigns and partnerships to increase product awareness and drive product sale
  • Ensure readiness of sales channels for merchandise including e-shop, events, pop up and permanent physical locations
  • Manage online assets including the merchandise e-shop, and digital asset manager
  • Forecast and manage the merchandise budget, support the wider product team in forecasting and budgeting activities when required

For our Merchandise Manager we are looking for:

  • Experience in product management or merchandise development
  • Agency/supplier management experience essential
  • Ability to anticipate business opportunities and creative innovative solutions
  • Experience in working in a fast paced and adaptable environment
  • Able to translate day to day requirements into strategic actions
