FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.
Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth
job purpose
Support the delivery of maintenance to the asset and responsible for the efficient delivery of large maintenance scopes (CAP maintenance) primarily through the effective planning and scheduling of work combined with the efficient coordination of third party vendors.
principle accountabilities
- Develop statements of requirements for maintenance activities with engineering support from Discipline Engineers
- Define and agree maintenance scopes of work with support from 3rd party vendors
- Define and agree work execution schedules with their resourcing requirements
- Work with Asset Planners & Schedulers in the development of asset integrated plans
- Work with the shutdown team in the development of asset shutdown plans
- Define standards for maintenance work packs and review work packs with engineering support from Discipline Engineers at planning gates
- Attend the asset integrated planning meetings and ensure planning gate compliance for all maintenance activities
- Lead readiness reviews for significant business impacting activities
- Lead After Action Reviews for significant business impacting activities
- Ensure lessons learned are identified and maintenance execution improvements are delivered through After Action Reviews for significant business impacting activities.
- Review and correct maintenance routines, job plans and system data (when required/identified) during work order planning stage
- Support the review and definition of spares strategies for relevant equipment
- Adhere to and promote Ineos 20 Principles and 7 Life Saving Rules to team, colleagues and external vendors

- Communicate regularly with offshore and onshore teams to highlight areas of concern with regard to job readiness and potential SIMOPS issues
- Review maintenance vendor reports with the aim of ensuring corrective work orders are raised to address functional failures, anomalies and defects identified within vendor reports
- Manage critical & operating spares in support of efficient maintenance execution highlighting where there are deficiencies in spares holding or obsolescence issues
qualifications and technical experience
Minimum Qualifications:
HND or equivalent qualifications
Able to demonstrate continuing personal and professional development
Minimum Experience:
Job-Specific Skills:
- Proven track record of working with vendors and improving vendor performance in delivering large and complex maintenance work scopes
- Proven track record in identifying opportunities for reducing maintenance execution costs and delivering maintenance cost reduction
- Experience in monitoring vendor maintenance delivery performance
- Experience in planning & scheduling large complex maintenance scopes within the offshore Oil & Gas Industry
- Working knowledge of Maximo.

- Issue vendor performance reports with analysis and insights on the quality of the maintenance performed and the efficiency of maintenance execution
- Written and verbal communication internally and with vendors ensuring priorities are understood and internal and external stakeholders are aligned
- Performing Readiness Reviews and creating readiness review reports for significant business impacting activities
- Performing After Action Reviews and creating AAR reports
