For our office/site in Ningbo we are looking for a

Maintenance Manager  (F/M)

SHE 30%

• Promoting and upholding the safety performance in accordance with behavioural and process safety directives
  • Compliance with and promotion of different behavioural and process safety initiatives and measures - initiation and monitoring / tracking (20 INEOS SHE principles, IGGN's, SHE KPI's, risk assessments, …)
• Incident investigation (focus on assets): Initiation, participation, co-ordination and monitoring / tracking of actions
• Follow up and implement any SHE related legislation related to equipment together with inspection engineer
• Ensure high quality and reliability condition of equipment to ensure running operations
• Reviews together with maintenance coordinator and supervisor the job-safety-analysis and accurate documentation to ensure most safe working environment

Site Maintenance, on- and off-site 25%

• Support the plants and utilities to achieve the required availability and reliability with in-time and high quality replacement of equipment
• Ensures technical availability of the different production plants and utilities
• Resource management (including contractors)
• Act as main technical contact person
• Setting targets on the work processes
• Follow up the performance of maintenance work in the installation
• Improves maintenance and engineering processes between technical department and production. Introduce a Maintenance Excellence program with a strong emphasis on cost reductions.
• Manage & optimize manufacturing execution system (MES) & Local IT environment (including ERP system).
• Responsibility for determination and further development of maintenance strategies
• Responsibility for determination and further development of spare parts strategies
• Responsibility for determination and further development of turnaround strategies in co-ordination with the technical engineering manager, Prepare ( and execute) TAR

• Support the MOC process – initiation, performance, execution (accountability), documentation, training
• Bad actor reporting and follow-up (reliability, costs, …), initiation of improvements
• Well-functioning warehouse and spare part organization

Budgeting and KPIs of maintenance department 15%:

• Cost management for the maintenance department
• Puts KPI’s and metrics in place to monitor the performance of the delivered services and the department
• Takes make or buy decisions in the areas of maintenance, engineering, local IT applications in alignment with Site Manager and Regional/Global Management.
• Coordination with site procurement team for indirect spend

• Ensure both cost control (adherence to budget) and cost leadership (focus on driving out costs). Develop, resource and implement cost reduction strategies as well as value generation activities.
• Monitoring, reporting and improving of maintenance and asset integrity related KPI’s

3^rd party management 15%

• Monitors and revises the site service agreements (SSA) with NPETD (including utilities)
• Achieves effective relationships with technical contractor and engineering companies to promote the interests and image of Styrolution to achieve favourable costs and resource availability. Must have deep understanding of all contractual aspects of third party relationships, and apply business acumen, negotiating skills as well as technical expertise to execute the contracts appropriately.

Team management 15%

• Work planning for all disciplines (civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation , DCS) aligned with production plan
• Responsible for the maintenance team, INSTY personal and 3^rd party provider
• Career development and evaluation of all permanent personal
• Ensure training of permanent personal together with training coordinator
• Ensure well-functioning shift organization and hand-over to day operations
• Ensure smooth work in between own planning teams for short equipment turnover times
• Supervise, coach, and mentor direct reports (“walk the talk”, visual leadership). Monitor cascade of leadership and management competencies throughout his/her organization.
• Conduct succession planning - Long term Workforce Capability.
