A. Purpose /Role of the job:  

Plan, execute, analysis and improve all E&I equipment in maintenance with engineering and technical support, and troubleshooting for reliable & efficient plant operation per the guidance or objectives of Maintenance manager.

B. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job:  

1. Key Result Areas:Incident free operations, Adherence to INEOS Styrolution SHE guidelines,    Compliance with local regulations.

Major Activities:

• Supervise participate E&I employees and contractors into the regular safety training at site;   
  • Safety rules and guidelines
  • Operating procedures- Maintenance work procedure
  • Incident sharing and learning
  • Permit to work and Risk Assessment like JSA, etc.
  • Day-to-day check if team members are applied site procedures aligned with INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGNs) and supervise compliance.

• Supervise and enhance to comply for;
  • Cascading/ commitment to learn follow and practice INEOS 20 principles of Process safety and Behavior safety.
  • Implementation/ commitment Life Saving Rules at work.
  • Following Permit to work as per the site procedure.
  • Following Management of Change as per the site procedure

• Promote E&I members and participate in the activity to build safety culture at site and drive for incident free operation.
• Responsible investigation of root cause that all incidents reported including Near Miss,  and develop action items are to be tracked for its completion in related to E&I.
• Responsible action tracking as follows;
  • Action items from MOC
  • Action items from SHE audit, plant walkthroughs
• Responsible for the integrity of Asset manager for the site E&I.
  • Plan and perform for INEOS Styrolution Asset Care program.
  • Responsible for maintaining the asset and integrity of the protective system.

• Follow and practice Management of Change as per the site procedure related to E&I
• Conducting/ participating in HAZOPs at site as per procedure
• Comply all legal regulations related with E&I.
• Participate to perform action items to implement INEOS Styrolution Sustainability program at site for the E&I.

2. Key Result Areas :Maintenance services and improvement of E&I

Major Activities:

• Review annual maintenance plan objectives including ITPM (Inspection, Testing, Preventive maintenance overhaul) plan for all equipment and update
• Perform and control the scheduled ITPM in according to the procedure developed per vendor guide, codes and standards.
• Review annual shutdown maintenance work plan including 4yr long-term shutdown
• Perform immediate action for unplanned shutdown related to E&I.
• Review maintenance work detail including safety review for E&I.
• Review purchase requisition for E&I.
• Manage work order through SAP system to perform contract work, purchasing MRO parts and spare parts of E&I under review with engineer/technicians.
• Supervise the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on maintenance history recording systems for efficient E&I maintenance.
• Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability on E&I.
• Continuously manage and update drawings which are basic drawings for maintenance and engineering of E&I.
• Continuously control and up-date the TDB (technical data book) which are basic vendor document package for maintenance and engineering.
• Analyze root cause of E&I issues and development of countermeasures, improvement actions and/or proposals to improve
• Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices to minimize troubled down time
• Review the implementation plan with maintenance fixed cost budget related to E&I including asset care and redundant asset removal.
• Discuss daily safety meeting with production for maintenance plan to optimize plant operation and to improve maintenance service quality.

3. Key Result Areas: CapEx Project implementation for maintenance of E&I

Major Activities:

• Review project feasibility for the equipment renewal and process, product development or latest technology application for approval.
• Plan and review to approval for the Electrical or Electronic systems or control system replacement projects.
• Issue inquiry requirement of the equipment with spec sheets, bidders and technical evaluation document.
• Review drawing and scope of supply.
• Perform inspection and test (FAT & SAT).
• Review technical documents submitted by vendor such as drawings, equipment specifications and work detail list
• Manage and assess project progress, quality, budget and delivery on contract services and purchase items.
• Submit project completion report to capitalize and to update all project relevant drawings, specifications, equipment list.

4. Key Result Areas: Manage E&I staff

Major Activities:

• Plan to execute annual team objectives related to E&I 
• Effectively lead E&I technicians/engineer to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output
• Ensure knowledge and expertise is maintained, developed and exchange within the team.                                                              

C. Required profile: 

Level of education & Knowledge

• Bachelor of Electric or Electronic engineering
• Intermediate level above in English, reporting and communication with engineer of foreign vendors
• Knowledge of equipment trouble analysis methodology of Root cause analysis, PHA(Process Hazards Analysis)
• Use of PIMS(Process Information Monitoring System), Engineering tools

Experience in general:

• Around 5 years experienced of electric or instrumentation maintenance and engineering work for petrochemical plant or equivalent

Technical skills:

• Understanding of basic of asset management or Mechanical Integrity
• Good understanding and performing maintenance of various electric equipment and various instruments.
• Understanding and performing of E&I designs and engineering drawings
• Understanding and applicable skill of industrial standard such as KS, JIS, BS, DIN, IEC, API, ANSI, ASME, etc.
• Utilization skills of MS office
