We are looking for a
Maintenance & Engineering Manager
Map Ta Phut,Thailand (TH)
Key Result Areas: Leading Overall Maintenance Department including Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and civil maintenance.
Major Activities;
• Monitoring & support Instrumentation, Electrical and Mechanical & Utility Department at site.
• Responsible for efficient trouble shooting of the problems.
• Initiate Cost reduction measures such as Energy saving, In-house development, Import substitution and automation wherever necessary.
• Technical discussion, qualification and approval of Vendors (with SCM Procurement & Site). Vendor development. Detail guidelines to vendor to work.
• Knowledge of Window based DCS operation & maintenance.
• Responsible for Asset Care initiatives and improvements in health and life cycle of plant and machinery.
• Planning and execution PM - Preventive maintenance, PdM - Predictive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, Shutdown maintenance and Asset Care monitoring adopting best engineering maintenance practices.
• Planning and ensure availability of critical spares for smooth operation of the plant.
• Develop necessary technical knowledge & skill required in the department for replacement & fitment of critical spare parts.
• Support SCM on the Spare Parts management, on the Inventory Control & Monitoring and on the storage conservation of spares parts with ready-to-use concept.
• Preparation of annual maintenance plan and evolve budget management and controlling.
• Analysis of the upsets / failures and take corrective & preventive action to avoid recurrence of the problem and resolve chronic issues. Prepare RCA reports as applicable by defined criteria.
• Good knowledge of statutory and legal requirement, operation & maintenance.
• Working with SCM – ensure effective analysis, audit, and selection of contractors fit to work on the INEOS Styrolution sites.
• Preparation & Implementation of Maintenance processes, methods, SOPs/SMPs, Task list & service sheets according to the best maintenance practices and recommended in RCA
• Monitoring of MTTR/MTBF and identify/eliminate the Bad Actors to improve plant reliability and availability.
• Data analysis (Cost & Efficiency) of the Department; including 3rd party contractors.
• Safe and trouble free maintenance of all equipment installed in the plant.
• Execute Preventive and predictive maintenance of all equipment as per the schedule and maintenance procedures Task lists in SAP.
• Monitor the pending PM/PdM and keep the track for early compliance.
• Ensure that Task list for PM/PdM/AMC are thoroughly prepared and followed strictly during maintenance.
• Ensure that all standby equipment are always available for operation. Repairs to be done immediately in case of any problem.
• Follow all SHE guidelines and work procedures during daily operation, start-ups and shutdown of equipment in consultation with production department.
• Ensure equipment are operated within norms and plan for corrective measures in case of deviations.
• For shutdown proper planning should be done in advance with Time chart for the stop/start activity, spares requirement, manpower planning and other resources required.
• Record history for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and modifications through MOCs.
• Ensure Zero leakages of any Utilities / Lubricants / Pump seals with effective monitoring and fixing plan.
• Maintenance & calibration of radioactive equipment with their legal compliances.
• Programming/Development of logic for DCS/PLC as and when needed. Routine checking and updating of software back-ups.
