The post holder is responsible for delivering sustainable Manufacturing Excellence improvement projects that achieve a positive impact and contribute to wall-to-wall programmes as a specialist in maintenance, TAR and reliability areas.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure the delivery of Manufacturing Excellence through the development and implementation of standardised systems and processes.
- Lead the delivery of step-change improvement projects in line with SHE requirements and the MEx Road Map, resulting in an optimisation of the TAR & maintenance process and/or an improvement in reliability.
- Lead the analysis of optimisation projects.
- Lead the TAR Best Practice Group to create an environment and skill base capable of delivering world class TARs.
- Lead the development of improvement project resources in the best practice methodologies and spread the know-how across the relevant people involved.
- Liaise with other INEOS businesses and sites to share best practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Engineering (mechanical/electrical/programming) degree/background.
- An experienced Chartered Engineer, with circa 15 years’ broad engineering experience of which a minimum of 10 years in maintenance management, TAR delivery (essential) and project management roles.
- Proven experience in leading Manufacturing Excellence business change projects, and a proven track record at delivering Manufacturing Improvement and project management in an international setting.
- Proven experience of key concepts relating to ideal/benchmark asset utilisation rate KPIs vs actual and levers to identify opportunities.
- Mastery of benchmark maintenance and reliability management tools and KPIs.
- Deep understanding of key maintenance benchmark process and organisation associated with turnaround.
