  1. Key Result Areas:  Initiate, coordinate logistics activities for equipment and construction materials

    Major Activities:
  • Conceptualize / establish project plans (determine the parties to involve, map out the project plan / schedule)
  • Create logistics strategies to better improve logistics and SCM operations in align with Standards and Safety regulations
  • Create cohesive project plans with an identifiable critical path, task dependencies, risk and issue mitigation processes and major milestones
  • Manage the approved plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time and quality parameters
  • Provide project leadership in the execution of the project logistics; and direct liaison with Engineering firms.
  • Apply comprehensive technical knowledge and management experience to analyze and resolve complex work problems;
  • Design and implement solutions as needed
  • Responsible to coordinate and help oversee the receiving, unloading and/or installation of equipment at the facility.
  • Manage and provide direction to auxiliary equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and our own personnel
  • Ensure alignment is achieved and that the resources are available to effectively deliver on plans.
  • Demonstrates safety consciousness at all times, following IGGN’s and Life Saving Rules and reports safety questions/concerns immediately.
  • Leads the development of the project and consults on the timeline and resource requirements
  • Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Set priorities within the project considering dependencies of the actions items that will drive closure.
  • Develop a cohesive time-line of execution to support both budget and project completion expectations.
  • Identify and communicate project milestones necessary to close the project on time and on budget
  • Make decisions by assessing the situation to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the client and organization.
  • Ensure project meets internal expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery time-lines and strategy.

    Outcome: Deliver the project within scope, fully comply with standards and regulations,  budget and time, meeting quality and best practice.

  1. Key Result Areas: Create standard operating procedures for each one of the initiatives during execution of the project

    Major activities:
  • Create standard Logistics operating procedures
  • Provide out of the box ideas by applying new technologies and best-practice / processes in the industry
  • Provide end-to-end logistics solutions from material purchase to finished goods delivery to the end user/consumer. (coverage: inbound, warehousing, optimization and outbound logistics operations / control.)
  • Understand the interactions between warehouse management systems (WMS) and other types of traditional and innovative technology (automation)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and adherence to established project
    management protocols.
  • Assure the compliance and fully comply with Standards and Safety regulations

    Outcome:develop standard process descriptions and work instructions for optimal and efficient logistics handling
  1. Key Result Areas: Strategically plan and assure the development of an effective logistic management concept ( Logistic Flow,  Warehouse Management , Terminal Management, Transportation and Customer services) for operating services.

    Major activities:
  • Receiving raw materials, packaged goods, parts, deliveries including Shore tanks, pipeline, inbound from 3rd party warehousing, Tolling, ..
  • Packaging finished product
  • Warehousing finished products, stores, spare parts, supplies (lab, office, consumables, …), utility materials (thermal oil, ammonia, caustic, acid, lubricants, …)
  • Loading and outflow of finished products, materials for making master batches, waste streams for recycling, disposal, …
  • SAP workflow and documentation
  • Storage Terminal management support to the 3rd party port provider.
  • On-site traffic flow on full trucks leaving empty and empty trucks leaving loaded
