Purpose of the job
The logistic deputy for Project One will prepare and implement the logistic roadmap and organization for the future ethane cracker that will be built in Lillo. He/She will put in place the logistic processes and will be the interface with all relevant stakeholders to optimize them.
The post holder will put in place a state of the art gate and access for all logistic service providers of the newly integrated site.
Environment/context of the job
Ineos O&P North is a substantial business with an annual turnover exceeding $4Bn, with a manufacturing capacity of 4.3mtpa of Olefins, Aromatics and Polymers across 5 sites strategically located in Germany, Norway and Belgium.
The Lillo site is the biggest polymer site and has been chosen to build a 1.3 million game changing ethane cracker, making use of the newest technologies and insights
Understand the incoming and outgoing flows of the cracker, including their bottlenecks and constraints so to transform this into a logistic roadmap per transport modus, take into account the needs of the business
Interact with the operation managers, product managers, market managers and operators/coordinators to ensure that logistics activity is aligned with commercial requirements and the site production.
Prepare and implement the correct logistic organization for ensuring reliable movements of all product flows in and out of the cracker and the polymer sites, looking to develop logical synergies and making use of best practices within the Supply Chain.
Support the implementation of the process for elaboration of a production plan for the cracker as part of an integrated end-to-end planning
Implement a state of the art gate and access for logistic service providers for the integrated site and interact with all relevant stakeholders from the Lillo integration team, IT and Project One
Level of Education & Experience
Master degree with technical, logistic or commercial background
Experience with knowledge of chemical products, in particular olefins and polymers is a plus.
Languages : Dutch and English; German is a plus
Excellent understanding of business context and strategy
Understanding of production and supply chain processes
Knowledge of various modal logistic operations (ship, rail, road) is a plus
Aptitude for organizational changes
