The post holder provides legal advice and counsel on corporate, commercial, operational and regulatory matters, focusing mainly on the UK and Northern European operations of INOVYN.
Accountabilities:
- Perform legal research and analysis concerning the rights and obligations affecting the INOVYN businesses.
- Assist with negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and ensure compliance with competition law and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist on M&A transactions, commercial disputes and litigation.
- Supervise corporate law and corporate housekeeping for INOVYN UK companies.
- Share legal knowledge by producing know-how that non-lawyers can readily understand.
- Manage outside legal counsel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Law degree, with excellent legal training and 2-4 years PQE from a prominent UK law firm or in-house team.
- Broad legal/commercial/M&A experience, or a specialist with the right attitude and skillset.
- Working knowledge of corporate law; commercial & contract law; private & public law, including environmental law.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation and organisational skills essential.
- Native or excellent written and spoken English. Additional European language(s) a plus.
- Strong business acumen, able to provide business oriented legal solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- Hands-on approach with positive can-do attitude.
