Primary location Jemeppe (Belgium), however other INOVYN production sites are considered. This position operates at middle-management level.
Main role purpose:
The post holder is responsible for leading the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) function within the central Research, Technology & Engineering team, proactively providing advice, solutions and problem solving for INOVYN's manufacturing sites and projects to ensure mechanical integrity and reliability.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Act as INOVYN's inspection and RBI specialist.
- Provide central technical leadership for pressure equipment inspections.
- Identify and apply consistent or contrasting approaches to inspection across different sites.
- Act as INOVYN's central point of contact for mechanical integrity inspections.
Key skills & experience required:
- University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of RBI methodology and technical standards.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical pressure systems and design codes.
- Extensive knowledge of inspection methods and their reliability.
- Proven experience in high hazard SEVESO/COMAH manufacturing sites.
- High level of independence and autonomy.
- Able to travel regularly in Europe.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability.
- Highly adaptable to working in different countries, different cultures and with different design codes
