Inspection and RBI Manager

Primary location Jemeppe (Belgium), however other INOVYN production sites are considered.  This position operates at middle-management level.

Main role purpose:

The post holder is responsible for leading the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) function within the central Research, Technology & Engineering team, proactively providing advice, solutions and problem solving for INOVYN's manufacturing sites and projects to ensure mechanical integrity and reliability.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Act as INOVYN's inspection and RBI specialist.
  • Provide central technical leadership for pressure equipment inspections.
  • Identify and apply consistent or contrasting approaches to inspection across different sites.
  • Act as INOVYN's central point of contact for mechanical integrity inspections.

Key skills & experience required:

  • University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of RBI methodology and technical standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical pressure systems and design codes.
  • Extensive knowledge of inspection methods and their reliability.
  • Proven experience in high hazard SEVESO/COMAH manufacturing sites.
  • High level of independence and autonomy.
  • Able to travel regularly in Europe.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Highly adaptable to working in different countries, different cultures and with different design codes
