ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

On-site at Grangemouth we have an exciting opportunity to join a busy IT Department where you will benefit from working with a team of skilled IT Application Support professionals.

You will be responsible for resolving customer issues and requests and providing support for a suite of application systems, updating software licenses, installation & testing of business applications both in-house developed & 3rd party purchased software. 

This role provides the opportunity to learn new skills in the area of application business systems and no Visa applications will be considered in relation to this role.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Have experience of Windows Operating Systems (10 and above) and Windows Server 2016 and above.
  • Have prior experience in the installation, testing and support of bespoke developed & 3rd party purchased software applications.
  • Be able to provide support for small sized projects tasks to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the stated business requirements.
  • Create and maintain support documentation & standard operating procedures to ensure that they are up to date and conform to requirements.
  • Have the ability to organise and prioritise requests/incidents.

You may also:

  • Have the ability to work to and maintain IT processes & standards, including IT change management.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of software licensing agreement maintenance.
  • Have experience of IT service management tools.
