IT SAP Analyst

INEOS Enterprises, a $2.9B Global division, has an opportunity for an SAP FICO Analyst to be part of our global IT organization.  This role will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that has global responsibility for the implementation, user support and day-to-day operation and management of applications, specializing in SAP.  This role is both a technical and process expert for the FICO module and will report to Global Application & Development Manager.  Additionally, this position will work with other modules in SAP and will support the global Composites business. A key feature of this role is to collaborate with both internal and external technical support staff & the user base globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide configuration and end-user support, tracking and resolving inquiries and incidents.  Escalate issues to external support team as necessary.
  • Work closely with business SMEs and managers to understand the end user perspective and procedures.  Review and document processes within the application footprint as it relates to INEOS Composites’ (a subsidiary of INEOS Enterprises) use.  Work with the business to ensure SAP module accuracy and end-user continuity.  Identify the need, complete and revisit as appropriate, end-user training in both SAP and related operations.
  • Promote the use of standard functionality within the system and rationalize the use of external applications.  Gather and document detailed requirements for business needs and collaborate with technical resources to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs. Taking into account cost vs benefit.
  • Identify test scenarios and coordinate testing of upgrades, new functionality and enhancements including troubleshooting and obtaining user sign off.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP.   
  • Must have experience with SAP Financial modules
  • Experience with additional SAP modules, as well as LSMW / ABAP is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in support and troubleshooting including incident management.
  • Possess expertise in supported modules with a willingness to expand knowledge
  • Must possess functional integration experience with other SAP modules
  • Should have understanding of system interfaces, interdependencies, and ability to walk through processes
  • Should possess strong interpersonal, communication and project delivery skills
  • Ability to identify & manage risks, issues & complexities involved in changing processes
  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment is essential
  • Should possess a passion for customer support
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration and teaming
