INEOS has an exciting opportunity for an IT Network Engineer to join our INEOS Composites business at our Dublin, Ohio location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the IT function. This position will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

INEOS Composites made up of more than 1100 end users across 21 locations in 8 different countries globally.  This role will operate with IT support staff in multiple locations, a key feature of this role is to collaborate with both technical support staff & the user base globally, while working towards the business apps/tool needs

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design network infrastructure and telephony roadmap for INEOS Composites to provide a fit for purpose, cost-effective, uniform and consistent solution across all locations
  • System Capacity Management
  • Day to day troubleshooting of faults with the network infrastructure and voice network
  • Work with WAN provider to ensure INEOS Composites is following best practices for network routing and security
  • Manage all configurations, upgrades, and repairs for the network infrastructure components
  • Management of all capabilities within the VOIP platform with a strategy of a uniform and consistent solution for INEOS Composites.
  • Support and mentor tier 1 and 2 support teams so they can provide first line telephony support to the Composites business
  • Work with vendors and other third parties to ensure that INEOS Composites is aligned with current trends and ensuring we are taking full advantage of leveraging our technology investments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, managing network infrastructure and phone systems
  • Proven progression in career support levels
  • Proven experience working with large enterprise distributed systems.
  • Bi-Lingual communication is a plus

Technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches
