The Opportunity

Mechanical Engineering: Based initially at Grangemouth our graduates find themselves working on real projects with experienced engineers who will mentor and guide them through to IMechE Chartership from the start.

We offer unique and unrivalled experiences and opportunities to grow and develop.  As a Mechanical engineer you will work in a variety of different roles within different parts of the business, designed to give you a diverse set of early experiences. Embedded within an engineering team you will be given a real job with real responsibilities from Day 1. These will include managing integrity repairs to maintain the safe operation of our assets as well as supporting various construction, inspection and maintenance activities. You will get invaluable exposure to design standards and industry codes plus invaluable site experience.

About you
We are seeking the very best Mechanical graduates who demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• A minimum of 2:1 Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Ambition and personal motivation
• the ability to work under pressure, with confidence
• A drive for action, initiative and delivery, a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills

We will consider recent graduates with up to two years relevant work experience.
