A. Purpose /Role of the job /: Describe in 1 phrase what contribution the job is expected to make to the organisation’s objectives
Lead and direct all logistics activities to ensure the integrated and rational systems of physical distribution (storing, transportation and distribution of all incoming, intermediate and outgoing materials in accordance with company strategies) |
Manage and improve facilities, service providers and contract with 3rd party to perform all of logistics activities in line with Ineos Styrolution & Government guidelines.

Internal: Change in forecast, inventory targets (short term, long term), change of sourcing location, adhoc requirement of vehicle placement,
External: Vessel delays, changes in government rules example RTO, safety awareness in general
C. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job: Describe the main results expected from the job
- Key Result Areas : Operations Management (Inbound & Outbound Logistics)
Major Activities:
- Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local and international law and company process.
- Plan and implement inbound/outbound strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.
- Plan on spending the budget of inbound & outbound logistics and control spending to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
- Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant inbound/outbound activities and support in relation to the organization’s sales, procurement, production and overall operating functions.
- Manage inbound & outbound cargoes process efficiently and accuracy follow customs law without any penalty from customs and excise.
- Analyze logistical problems for inbound & outbound logistics and provide best solutions to minimize problem to internal and external customers.
- Managing the internal spare part stores to ensure inventory accuracy and on time replenishment the stock level

Ensure safe and efficient inbound & outbound logistics targets and standards through the effective management of the department
2. Key Result Areas : Operations Management (Terminal Tanks, Transportation, Warehouse operation and Licenses)
Major Activities:
- Design logistics material flow (raw material and product) to ensure optimization of warehouse space, tank terminal , transportation and other services to meet with raw material planning requirement
- Analyze logistical problems for raw material and product planning and provide best solutions to minimize problem to internal and external.
- Coordinating with internal and external teams regarding tax incentives, cost reduction and various other related activities
- Contacting and coordinating with various concerned India government offices (Excise & Customs)
- Conduct Excise and customs tasks which relate to all privileges, and updating and informing concerned sections
Outcome :
- Ensure safe and efficient of all logistics operation (warehouse, transportation, tank terminal, Customs clearing) utilization with related to raw material and product planning & scheduling targets and standards through the effective management of the department
- Maximize duty benefit to company
- Comply with law and other requirements of India
3. Key Result Areas: People Management
Major Activities:
- Manage the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and continuous development of staffs
- Coach and counsel to enhance operational performance
- Plan to develop personal work and monitoring of the development results continuously.
- Plan the carrier advancement, promotion and transfer tasks to employees.
- Plan the work schedules of team members and resource requirements, allocation of tasks, rotating responsibilities as appropriate to achieve flexibility and meet with operational requirements

Create the right conditions for a technically capable, well-motivated and highly productive team operating at optimum levels.
4. Key Result Areas : External Service Providers Management (Carrier, Shipping Agent, Customs Representative, Transport, Courier, Warehousing and tank terminal)
Major Activities:
- Qualify and approve the selection of external service providers
- Implement procedures and processes with external service providers.
- Manage external service providers performance to ensure their meeting target of SHE, Quality and Services level
Outcome :
Effectiveness and relevance in the external service providers.
5. Key Result Areas : Internal and External Audits
Major Activities:
- Analyze market survey and biding for new contracts after termination
- Maintain an update logistics & planning procedures, work instructions and other documents in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 in HSEQ database by completely
- Active role in audit work to ensure an effective audit performed and respond to internal & external audits inquiry (excise, customs, etc.).

F. Required profile:
Level of education & Knowledge:
- University graduate
Experience in general:
- At least 7 years relevant working experience in inbound and outbound logistics
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in personal management
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment
