HR manager Lillo site

We are looking for an HR manager for the Lillo Site.

He/she will work alongside the Lillo Site Manager and the O&PN central HR resource and will develop the future Lillo organisation, lead the HR organisation, develop the necessary organisation and structures to ensure that the Site meets all legal, collective and individual regulations and provisions.

Once established, the HR manager will lead the HR organisation, working with the Site Manager to define the HR strategy and delivery of HR service for the entire Site. Coordinate the HR activities with the wider O&P organisation. Represent and be active in the INEOS Belgium/across Businesses HR community in Belgium. Represent INEOS in Belgian employers associations.

Role:

  • Deliver HR strategy for the Lillo site of the future
  • Support the Project activity during the period of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up
  • Build the organisation of the future
  • Ensure development, awareness and use of appropriate HR policies and procedures:
  • Ensure a high quality of HR processes and services
  • Remuneration management
  • Ensure proper industrial relations and compliance with labour law:
  • Development of an effective personnel marketing and recruiting strategy
  • Employee development
  • Ensure suitable support for projects with HR relevance such as fixed cost reduction programs, improvement programs, etc.:
  • Ensure close coordination & cooperation with INEOS wider Belgian HR & O&P Business HR Managers

Your profile:

Level of education & Experience in general

  • University Degree in HR or economics or equivalent / MBA
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in all aspects of HR in an chemical/industrial company
  • Experience of industrial relations
  • Previous experience of leading HR function
  • Ideally experience of set up of structures/building of organisation
  • Ability to act on oneself in all HR aspects
Technical skills
  • Deep knowledge of labour legislation, agreements, tax and social security legislation
  • Fluency in Flemish/ English & ideally French
  • Good knowledge of HR IT systems
  • Strong IT analytical skills

Behavioral skills

  • Strong capability to communicate clearly, negotiate, keep discussions ongoing, be supportive, deal with various situations
  • Creativity for solving issues & coming up with solutions
  • Able to simplify complicated matters
  • Can-do with strong leadership ability
  • Up to date with latest HR developments (on site/within the company and outside) & how they could benefit the Organisation
  • Grit, stamina and rigour, with a touch of humour
