Global Product Steward (f/m/d)
Your Perspective
- Project and work stream lead for major regulatory projects to mitigate regulatory risks
- Ensuring compliance of our existing and future product range in the Product Stewardship area for our global product range
- Taking a regulatory compliance governance role on order to support other departments
- Communication with a range of external experts and integrating the analytical results from external laboratories along with advanced dedicated modelling work
- Executing of detailed scientific risk assessment with a support of modelling tools and calculation
- Supporting of dossier work for several food contact legislations
- Close cooperation with other regions to support and share information and developing global policies and strategy to address regulatory constraints and trends.
- Developing and support regulatory aspects for the circular economy and our sustainability agenda
- Assessment of new product developments for regulatory compliance in target markets
- Participates actively in certain industry committees to address specific regulatory concerns and trends and to interpret and apply legislation as an industry
- Customer support for IMDS/CAMDS databases supporting the Automobile industry for Product Stewardship compliance
Your Profile
- PhD Chemist, or other science/technical studies with chemistry background, experience in R&D / Product Development an advantage
- Several years (2 – 5) of professional experience in the field of regulatory requirements with a view to plastic products
- Experience in process engineering, polymerization processes and modelling tools an advantage
- Confident, diplomatic and communicative personality with an excellent eye for detail and a high degree of perseverance, who knows to set the right priorities as part of an international team.
- Ability to understand complex regulatory issue and manage several project at the same time in a structural way
- Fluent English, German is a plus but not a must
- Excellent team worker
