1. SHE 40 %

• Promote and comply with the “INEOS Life Saving Rules” and the “20 INEOS SHE Principles”.
• Supports to achieve the SHE goals of the site and the company by actively participation in the continuous improvement of safety and brings in own ideas and improvement proposals.
• Promote and participate in SHE programs and SHE initiatives (observations, field checks, quality management tours, asset care tours, …).
• Participate at safety-relevant themes (5 min security before shift start, SHE-Alerts, TOFS sessions (time out for safety), LMRA (last minute risk assessment) stopping work or unsafe situations…).
• Perform or support task risk analyses.
• Support in preparation of SOP’s. Follow these SOP’s.

1. Operational activities 55%

• Performs all jobs according to plan and operating instructions in an assigned area of responsibility (AA/Utilities).
• Prepares the installation for maintenance and inspection work according to the instructions and measures indicated on the permit to work (e.g. emptying of equipment and piping, flushing, LOTO,…)
• Perform regular control tours in the plant (see - hear - smell) with clear registration of the process parameters in the applicable checklists.  
• Takes care for the housekeeping of the plant, for the area within his/her responsibility
• Is in close contact with the control room operator and reports all information relevant to the control room such as malfunctions, off-spec production, product spill, unsafe situations,...
• Identifies potential failures in a timely manner and take appropriate measures to avoid them. Acts in a safe and efficient manner when solving malfunctions.
• Reports to the outside Operations lead any relevant process changes, malfunctions, off-spec production and documents these for his installation parts.
• Unloading chemicals and auxiliaries in 25 kg bags, drums or bulk trucks for the WWTP plant, demin. water generation unit, thermal oxidizer and cooling tower package

1. Product quality control 5 %

• Prepares additive solutions according to recipes and observes the “four eyes” principle.
• Takes samples from raw materials, intermediates and AA finished product and brings them to the offline lab for final quality checks.

Level of education & Knowledge[FH1]:

• College degree in chemical engineering with at a minimum 5 years’ experience in the chemical process industry.

Technical skills:

• Good command of risk management and prevention.
• Solid grasp of health and safety rules.
• Become proficient in procedures through in-house training
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thoroughly understand and follow complex work procedures.
• Good analytical skills.
• Minimal computer skills.
• You are a team-oriented, enthusiastic colleague for our team of process operators.
• Technical insight and affinity are obvious to you.
• You have a critical, curious view and you have a nose for learning opportunities.
