INEOS FPS (North)

FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

Job Purpose

Responsible for delivering an integrated schedule for Unity and landline assets incorporating, maintenance, inspection, fabric maintenance and project related activities to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable site operations. The post-holder will report to the Operations Manager and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient delivery of activities.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Conducting offshore surveys, for scope definition and further liaising with FM Contractor to ensure quality control and timely progression of scope
  • Development and delivery of Fabric Maintenance programmes in line with agreed budget
  • Maintain FM register
  • Developing SORs, cost reporting and forecasting of annual programmes
  • Review and accepting of contractor invoices and Service Valuation Certificates
  • Preparing Annual Fabric Maintenance Reports to reflect work achieved
  • Effectively managing contractor performance, in the service delivery of FM and Support Services
  • Develop, Management and maintaining of FM QA/QC database ensuring Maximo is suitably updated
  • Develop and Maintain long term fabric maintenance plans in support of life of field to ensure they remain current and reflective of current strategies
  • Reviewing contractor estimates and method statements
  • Ensuring detailed and defined work orders are prepared scheduled and completed within agreed timescales in Maximo
  • Monitor on-going work, tracking progress against plans and budget and take appropriate steps to address issues
  • Spot check QA/QC data from the Contractor reports and record findings

Job Requirements

  • Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes.
  • Good working knowledge of maintenance standards, Integrity Management, Control of work and HSSE.
  • Experience using MMS system.
  • Experience of FM QA/QC and data management
  • Understanding of Planning and Scheduling processes, concepts and tools.
  • Good communication and engagement skills.

Qualifications, knowledge and Skills

  • ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in delivery of FM campaigns on offshore and onshore installations within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Experience within the offshore Oil & Gas industry understanding the relationship of Fabric Maintenance to maintaining pressure systems, pipelines and structural integrity assurance
  • NACE CiP Level 3, ICORR insulation and PFP level 2 or trade equivalent
  • Valid BOSIET / MIST Certification
  • Committed to personal safety and role in meeting business objectives
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft office packages
