We are looking for a
Export Logistics Coordinator
Seoul,Korea (the Republic of) (KR)
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job: Describe the main results expected from the job
- Key Result Areas :
To ensure the customer’s satisfaction, coordinate Shipment process
Major Activities :
- Coordinate and adjust shipment schedule with CSO of each countries, PM and internal relevant
Parties (Site logistics, Planning team) to ensure the availability of shipment under confirming stock
availability and completed payments.
- Decide the best shipment available date close to Customer’s request date, inventory preparation,
and input it on the common file
- Select the applicable Shipping company or Forwarder (S&F) referred GMT (Global Maritime Tender),
and input it on the common file for the instructing the vessel booking to RPA based on the 5-2.
- Monitor and adjust vessel shipment details which is booked by RPA.
- If vessel booking is failed by RPA caused by late booking request or space shortage etc., contact
S&F directly and confirm the best vessel schedule and update it on the common file manually.
- If there is no applicable vessel in GMT award, receive a spot rate quotation from the S&F and get an
approval from the team head for the optimal S&F service and freight..
1-7.Monitor shipment status, shipment notice by RPA and the following documentation status
Outcome :
Cost savings and on-time delivery as Customer requested.
- Key Result Areas :
Receipt accurate order in time
Major Activities :
- Check the updated order details and downloaded PO sheets by Robotic Process Automation (RPA) every morning.
- Check the contents of the PO sheet, and if there are any problems, discuss sales-related contents ( sales price, Payment terms, delivery terms etc.) with the PM, and correct delivery and document abnormalities with the CSO
- If an input error is founded on the PO sheet, either receive an order from the CSO again or correct the wrong details directly on SAP.
Outcome :
Deliver the exact product and quantity that meets the customer's request, and ensure that there are no additional costs due to document discrepancy.
- Key Result Areas :
Coordinate container work of Site Logistics
Major Activities :
3-1. Considered inventory status and ETD, request container work to Site logistics.
3-2. Receive Container work details from Site logistics, and maintain details in common file.
3-3. In case of Container shortage, contact PIC of S&F and coordinate container work directly.
Outcome : on-time delivery cargo to Customer
- Key Result Areas :
Coordinate inventory control with Planning team compared to 6month RSF(Rolling Sales Forecast)
Major Activities :
4-1. Support consolidating RSF(M+1,M+2,M+3, M+4, M+5 & M+6) by PM around 13th of every month by
providing export order taking volume for M+1,M+2,M+3, M+4, M+5 & M+6
4-2. Start order-taking from Customer Service Officer (CSO) of each sales countries in line with allocated
volume & announced price by PM
4-3. Alert PM and concerned parties when anomalies are detected in the source RSF.
4-4. Coordinate production plans with the Planning team to meet shipment schedules based on total
order volume.
Outcome :
Management on order fulfillment as requested by customer and improvement of services levels (e.g. on-time shipment performance, constant focus on customer needs)
- Key Result Areas :
Manage Block/Delivery release (customer’s L/C opening or T/T payment.)
Major Activities :
5-1.Monitor customer’s L/C opening or T/T payment status according to the guideline.
( China and S-E Asia : 3 working days, w-Asia & other region : 7working days before the ETD )
5-2.Send pre-notice of non-L/C & T/T status to PM & CSO on every week
5-3.Release credit block in time after checked and corrected L/C contents or T/T arrival.
5-4. If not released credit block in time due to late L/C (T/T) arrival, notice its delay to PM & CSO
Outcome :
Prevent overdue accounts and shipping cancellations or delays caused by credit problems in advance
- Key Result Areas :
Coordinate the production schedule and stock status with the planning team from time to time.
Major Activities :
6-1. Identify the inventory quantity to meet the customer's shipment request date,
6-2. Discuss changes to the production plan with the person in charge of planning if it is necessary to
comply with the shipment schedule agreed with the PM/CSO
6-3. Notify and fix the revised shipment date to PM/CSO when it is difficult to ship on time.
Outcome :
Prevent any shipping cancellations or delays caused by inventory shortage and fulfill the customers’ requirements via on-time delivery
- Key Result Areas :
Coordinate Claim settlement & Handling on Sales contracts (A&D agreement, Insurance, Rebates, etc.)
Major Activities :
7-1.Collect and consolidate customer’s claim according to defined procedures via system (NCM) or
emails. Initiate coordination with the relevant parties such as PM, Site logistics and Q&C team to
solve problem and to ensure the necessary corrective actions.
7-2. Follow-up NCM compensation as agreed.
7-3. Follow-up updated/revised sales contracts according to agreed export police, co-ordination with PM,
relevant parties ( Legal and F&A) and sales offices in Asia pacific to strength business and do the
business smoothly.
Outcome : Satisfy Customer’s request under timely settlement.
