INEOS FPS

FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas transportation and processing system serving the central area of the North Sea.

The Kinneil Terminal consists of three processing trains which handle the incoming pipeline fluids from the Forties Pipeline System (FPS) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) from St. Fergus via Cruden Bay.

The crude oil feedstock is initially heated before being passed through separators to split the feed into stabilised crude oil, water and raw gas components.  The raw gas is further processed at Kinneil and the stabilised Forties Blend crude oil is exported at the Hound Point terminal.
