Cybersecurity Engineer

Your Role: The Cybersecurity Engineer role will be responsible for supporting the design, release and launch of Cybersecurity Implementations. You will work in an OEM new product development environment that develops On Road and Off-Road Vehicles from concept to launch. One of the key functions of this position is to support on the Implementation of Cybersecurity measures at the vehicle level in accordance with ISO 21434, SAEJ3061, UNECE and industry leading security norms.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Support the Cybersecurity Lead on the implementation of the cybersecurity concept at the vehicle level in accordance with ISO 21434, SAEJ3061 or IEC 62443.
  • Support organization in getting compliance to UNECE standard
  • Active collaboration with the Functional Safety Lead & Information security teams
  • Implementation and evaluation of Security analysis (Threat modelling, Threat analysis, Attack vectors, Risk reports, Vulnerability analysis etc)
  • Support Engineering Software OTA security analysis
  • Participation and support in Security Audits & Assessments
  • Develop Security validation plan as requested by ISO21434 and UNECE standards.
  • Develop procedures for OEM - Incident management response.
  • Support the implementation of CSMS on whole Organization

For the Cybersecurity Engineer, we are looking for:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable experience in IT environment.
  • Professional Automotive cybersecurity Certification or similar.
  • 3 years’ experience in security development lifecycle preferably in automotive or mission critical domains.
  • Proven track record to implement cybersecurity in organization and in a product.
  • Hands on experience to create cybersecurity architecture, designs and requirements.
  • Experience and capability to drive Security work products at vehicle level (eg: TARA).
  • High technical ability and analysis capability to drive security analysis.
  • Experience in developing SW OTA security strategies would be of advantage.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills for management of suppliers.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10% of the time).
