Customer Service Representative I

INEOS Composites has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative I to join our INEOS Composites business at our Dublin, OH site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company. This position will report to Customer Service Manager

As a Customer Service Representative, this role will process customer orders correctly first time from receipt through to cash paid as an end to end process.  You will deliver World Class, professional customer service to both internal and external customers. You will work alongside internal and external colleagues to develop excellent relationships with customers and to seek opportunities to promote INEOS Composites products and services.

Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact with customers, providing step-by-step solutions with patience and an approach tailored to each individual customer
  • Process customer POs via direct order entry system
  • Maintain customer profiles including billing, shipping, products, INCO Terms, and Special Requirements
  • Provide customers with resources or additional information on products and services
  • Execute on strategies to pursue cost savings and commercial excellence
  • Respond to customers’ needs for inventory, PO status, pricing, and freight
  • Process and follow up on customer complaints as it relates to customer orders, invoicing issues, returns, and quality
  • Process debit, credit, and return invoices, review for accuracy and completeness
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers including Sales, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Quality departments
  • Ensure you and your colleagues work within the INEOS 20 principles of safety

Qualifications:

  • Self-Starter with problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking in a fast pace environment; must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially using Excel and Windows 7 – 10
  • Experience navigating through Internet Explorer and Chrome
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous role in customer service would be desirable
  • SAP system – Knowledge and understanding of SAP specifically related to Sales Order modules
  • Microsoft Outlook experience preferred
