Purpose /Role of the job
The Costing Analyst is one of the key members of Accounting Korea team and CO/PA Asia function for timely and accurate product costing, monthly closing and the relevant analysis.
The jobholder leads standard cost estimation, costing specific views and the calculation of the actual price with Ledger.
Performing of CO-period end closing procedure (monthly, quarterly, yearly) by ensuring of data collection from different interfacing SAP modules, settlement of cost center cycles, check of data quality and consistency in accordance to Group Guidelines
Acts as Key User in SAP implementation projects responsible with regard to SAP-CO and integrative processes: optimization and alignment of CO-related processes.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job
Product Cost Controlling in SAP -- Timely and accurate ML process for month end closing
Cost Estimation (Standard Cost) -- Providing accurate standard cost in timely manner
Cooperation as internal service provider -- Communication with colleagues regarding cost factors
Cooperation as member of CO-team -- Communication with CO-team regarding CO activities
Area of Digitization by RPA Champion in Asia -- Increasing business efficiency and throughput
Required profile
Bachelor degree, majored in Accounting or Business Administration
5-10 years of job experiences in cost accounting or similar capacity
Technical skills
- Deep knowledge of cost accounting and SAP-CO.
- More than intermediate accounting knowledge for IFRS and Local GAAP
- Comprehensive understanding of Tax law
- Advanced SAP knowledge and the integrative processes.
- Good at PC skill (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
