This is a strategic management position within the Sustainability Function that has scope for further development with experience.
Main role purpose
As the functional lead of INOVYN’s communications activity, the postholder is responsible for a communication and public relations strategy that is fit for a pan European market leader and contributes directly to the delivery of overall business strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities & accountabilites:
- Define, agree and execute an effective and comprehensive communications strategy (internal and external) to positively position INOVYN and protect its business brand and image.
- Develop the corporate communication team members and its organisation to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
- Design and implement targeted customer events and marketing campaigns across the entire INOVYN business in co-operation with senior business stakeholders.
- Drive website and social media strategies to ensure Company voice is coherent across multiple channels and content is relevant and engaging.
- Manage INOVYN’s public relations interface, including acting as Company spokesperson, and ensure preparedness and implementation of a crisis communication process in coordination with country management.
Key skills & experience:
- Degree in Law, Journalism, Marketing or Mass Communications.
- 15 years working in communications/public relations with significant media relations experience.
- An excellent communicator, able to convey sometimes complex messages in a compelling manner.
- A strategic thinker and planner, with excellent creative and conceptual abilities.
- Able to positively influence and impact at all levels.
- A self-starter able to manage complex projects across multiple channels.
- A team player who is willing to work hands on and to coach others.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of (an) other European language(s) is a critical advantage.
- Flexibility to travel within Europe.
