The Position: Circular Feedstock Development Manager -
The Circular Feedstocks Development Manager is responsible for developing feedstock opportunities and partnerships and support feedstock waste procurement for operations in North America to achieve INSTY Circular Economy and Sustainability targets.
Requirements:
- Level of education & knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or natural sciences
- Previous experience in Procurement with preference in Raw Materials (petrochemicals)
- Experience in general:
- Experience in moderation of cross-functional teams (minimum 2 years)
- Commercial experience in waste management preferred
- Experience building and maintaining external business relationships
- Experience in a procurement function preferred
- Technical skills:
- Experience developing industry partnerships
- Project management skills
- Data analysis and reporting
- Market research and business intelligence
- Good skills in using tools including SAP, Excel and other databases
- Fluent in English (including negotiations), additional language skills advantageous
- Story lining and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Discover opportunities for feedstock sourcing from waste collection, plastic recycling, and plastic manufacturing value chains. Develop and understand key market drivers for potential feedstocks to inform procurement decisions.
- Develop key relationships within the waste and recycling industries
- Use industry experience to develop partnership options that provide win/win opportunities.
- Collaborate with key partners in RDC, R&D, to understand key requirements for polymer use for feedstock sources in mechanical and advance recycling processes.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Technology and Manufacturing to qualify suppliers
- Partner with colleagues as part of other cross-functional teams including RDC, manufacturing, business, SHE, etc. to drive Circular Economy initiatives.
- Provide timely communications to management and project stakeholders by communicating project needs, value, priorities, and decisions to ensure project success.
- Execute NDAs, LOIs, MOUs, and contracts to procure material for ECO products
- Support internal ISCC+ certification and ensure compliance to standards
- Qualify suppliers in collaboration with marketing, sustainability, technology, and manufacturing teams
- Represent Americas region in Global feedstock waste council for ECO products.
- Create an aligned Category strategy
- Evaluate and manage suppliers and supply portfolio (in the sense of a “key account manager”)
- Create value add and bottom line impact for INEOS Styrolution such as cost savings/cost avoidance, risk reduction, higher delivery flexibility, increased competitiveness, more efficient processes, supplier innovation, etc.
- Design optimal logistics strategy to ensure supply security for assigned categories
- Lead and participate in cross functional strategic projects
The Location: This opportunity is located in Aurora, Illinois , only 5 miles from downtown Naperville.
