Capacity Planner

The Capacity Planner role ensures that the medium to long term production plan can be achieved, with minimum deviations to the sales target, by clarifying and negotiating optimized resources allocation and factory capacity constraints.

Responsabilities :

  • Prepare and promote medium to long term shortages follow-up with Material Planners.
  • Work with S&OP processes, purchasing and production to derive achievable supply and production plans
  • Assure that the current production plan can be achieved by aligning capacity with the shops.
  • Analyse supplier capacity considering the impact on the current production plan
  • Resolve competing requirements for common materials within planning, conflicting demand priorities within product management/customer service and production leadership
  • Maintain reports for capacity status and follow-up
  • Coordinate with managers in planning and engineering changes in production line
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3+ years Automotive experience (Tier 1-2 or OEM)
  • 5+ years Experience in Logistics
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Economics preferred
  • Interest in IT tools, especially SAP MRP
  • Knowledge about latest standards and tools
  • Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills
  • Must be innovative, challenging, and entrepreneurial, believes in continuous improvement and the application of lean principles.
