We are looking for a Temporary Credit Controller to be integrated into the International Credit Management team located in Martorell (Barcelona), taking care of an international portfolio.
The main job purpose is to contribute to Group’s growth and results, insure Cash protection by preventing customer credit risk and optimizing cash-in, throw an efficient performance of credit assessment, control of blocked orders and cash collection.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- To assist the Credit Manager and provide information in order to define the customer credit policy for their customer portfolio.
- To perform credit management operations on a day-to-day basis respecting quality and timeliness
- To manage the relations with the internal and external stakeholders
- To implement and ensure compliance with the credit policy and rules within own perimeter
- To implement improvements
- To advice to the business on payment terms and country risk
- To provide reportings and to highlight to the countries any significant deviation from the Credit Policy or from the Guardian KPI’
Key skills and knowledge required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- 3 to 5 years of corporate accounting/financial experience
- Deep knowledge of financial processes and accounting systems (particularly SAP R3)
- Excellent level of English is required. German would also be appreciated.
- Good skills in MS-Office
- Experience working in a manufacturing organization preferred
- You have a hands-on approach
- You are able to work independently
- Nevertheless you are a team player and have strong communication skills
- Experience in a customer facing role
