Business Analyst SAP FI/CO

INEOS Oxide is one of the most diverse, dynamic and successful businesses within INEOS. We operate 4 manufacturing sites in Europe and North America (Antwerp BE, Köln DE, Lavéra FR, Plaquemine US). We produce a broad range of 200+ products which spread across four key value chains (Ethylene Oxide, Propylene Oxide, Oxo Alcohols and ENB), and on many of our products we are the European market leader. Our total manufacturing capacity is above 3 million tonnes per annum generating an annual EBITDA of ~300 M€. INEOS Oxide is an energetic business with an ambitious growth agenda.

The INEOS Oxide finance department is located in Zwijndrecht and is responsible for consolidating data from various sites. It is a complex and challenging environment. The SAP FI/CO Business Analysts are part of the finance department. Together with the new candidate, they will form a team of 2.5 FTE.

Business Analyst SAP FI/CO

Purpose of the job

The Business Analyst is responsible for:

  • Assess demand and evaluate business requirements for systems solutions
  • Propose relevant options, processes and resources for ERP System development projects
  • Deliver the agreed projects and support services
  • Prepare the finance department for S4H transition

The Business Analyst will work closely with all areas in different geographies in the organization: IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Business and Manufacturing.

Accountabilities of the job

Service Delivery

  • Contribute to the ongoing system availability, integrity and stability.
  • Provide functional and configuration expertise in support of SAP ERP and related applications with focus on the FI/CO module.
  • Support, develop and share best practices within the local organization. A strong understanding of integration with other modules (SD, MM, PP, PM) is required.
  • Close cooperation with the IT department and other SAP Business analysts in the organization (SD, MM, PP, PM).

Projects

  • Coordinate and actively participate in all stages of project development:
  • Translate business requirements into ERP Design, direct communication and interaction with business users.
  • Support the business team throughout all the phases of the project (define training scope, UAT scope, cutover activities, deployment readiness).
  • Research, design, documentation, configuration, testing, data conversions and implementation.
  • Act as SAP finance system expert, contribute to change management system and generate knowledge about current business processes and systems.
  • Provide training on the FI/CO module.

Required Profile

Level of education & experience in general

  • University degree in computer engineering, commercial engineer or equivalent by experience
  • Minimum 10 years of extensive experience of design, configuration and testing of the relevant SAP Modules: FI/CO. Knowledge SD, MM, PP and PM is a plus. Experience with S4H transition is a plus.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Experience in Chemicals/Manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • Successful full life-cycle implementation of SAP preferred with track record in change management.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Technical skills

  • Detailed knowledge of financial business processes.
  • Translating business solutions into technical specifications and training materials.
  • Good understanding of technical interfaces between SAP existing and 3rd party applications (Qlikview, Anaplan, Readsoft) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of production recording.
