The Position: Business & Pricing Specialist - The Business & Pricing Specialist role will maintain, update, and disseminate accurate prices & rebate information across the organization (Divisions: ABS, PS, SM, SPECIALTIES) for US and Canada sales, both domestic and export. 

Requirements:

Level of education & Knowledge:

Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or related field of study.

2+ years of pricing/reporting/accounting and/or experience in supporting commercial sales.

Experience in the Plastics or chemical industry is preferred.

Experience in general:

• Work Experience: Experience in an administrative, analytical, finance or accounting role
• Organizational Skills: Ability to efficiently work in a high-paced environment and prioritize daily tasks
• Communication Skills: Personal effectiveness skills across a diverse customer-base; good verbal/written communication
• Marketing and financial acumen

Technical skills:

• Microsoft Office Apps including Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, TEAMS, and etc.
• Strong Excel with knowledge of pivot table and/or power query

Responsibilities:

• Load and maintain customer price record (CPR) in pricing tools
• Document and send notification of new CPR daily, monthly, or quarterly based on business need to business management, key account managers, customer account specialists, and external customers
• Responsible for rebate process in US and Canada
  • Initiate approval process
  • Track progress and follow through to obtain accounts receivable (A/R) clearance 
  • Run, compile, and distribute volume and rebate reports
• Daily sales order troubleshooting for price and/or rebate discrepancies
• Initiate price corrections
• Dedicate time for first-of-month/month-end new pricing entry
• Support Key Account Manager (KAM) with pricing tools
• Ensure that pricing is submitted by KAM in a timely manner
• Key user for pricing & rebates and initiate testing for system enhancements or projects
• Recommends pricing & rebate process improvement opportunities
• Gatekeeper for customer master list and administrator of commercial communication release, i.e. price increase or business status
• Support Business and Pricing Manager with implementation of new processes, guidelines, and/or strategies

The Location: This opportunity is located in Aurora, Illinois, only15 minutes from downtown Naperville.
