Brand Manager - Trade Marketing

Location: INEOS HQ, Central London

  • Huge investment made in a brand new state of the art manufacturing facility and a number of exciting product launches into 2023/24 and beyond, which this role will be instrumental in delivering. 
  • To support an exciting period of growth the business is currently recruiting for a number of vacancies in the Marketing & Innovation function at our flagship site in County Durham or INEOS HQ in Central London.

The Role: 

Brand new vacancy created for 2023 to support the achievement of our strategic aims through the delivery of improved market intelligence/insights across our new and existing categories. The Brand Manager - Trade Marketing will be responsible for evaluating our performance in each of our accounts using a range of data sources to diagnose key opportunities and help to find solutions to reach those opportunities with changes to our 4Ps.

 Accountabilities: 

  • Support day to day brand operations covering the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. 
  • Ensure that data analysis and consumer insights is at the heart of our  decision making, working closely with peers to evaluate and continually improve our access to and application of meaningful data.
  • Identify growth opportunities/ideas and own the innovation process from ideation to landing on shelf, via relevant stage gates, liaison with trade/supply, pack design and 4Ps/comms development. This role will also be pivotal in NPD/EPD development from insight and performance review.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Commercial, Business Management etc.) or extensive experience in a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager role
  • Previous experience in a relevant Marketing role working with brands, preferrably gained in blue chip FMCG businesses but other industries will be considered.
  • Specific marketing training (Desirable)

Technical Skills:

  • IT Literate, competent in the use of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of initiating and successfully delivering NPD/EPD to market
  • Understanding and some experience of identifying consumer and shopper insights and acting upon them.
  • Playing a key role in the development and execution of successful brand communication campaigns.
  • Analytical, data literate and commercially astute
  • Be a good planner and organiser; able to bring together and reconcile a complex matrix of information to enable sound decision-making.
