The Position: Accounts Payable -Under minimal supervision, incumbent is responsible for a wide variety of accounting transaction entries related to invoice processing. Individual must be able to adapt to demanding environment with ever changing priorities.
What you will do:
Process Mexico and Brazil invoices ensuring proper approval has been obtained
60-80 daily invoices in the SAP workflow
Payment runs for Mexico and Brazil
Responsible for Mexico/Brazil AR cash applications
Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies. (ie pricing, quantity and GR)
Corrective action to resolve inefficienies
Demonstrate analytical skills / attention to details
Ensure internal control compliance, risk management and compliance procedures are followed
Journal entries – ensure proper approval & backup is provided
Compiling, sorting, and substantiating business transactions and reconciling vendor statements
Monthly and yearly close
What you will bring:
Associate or Bachelor's degree or 4+ years working knowledge in accounts payables or accounting
Cash Applications, SAP, OCR system, Microsoft Office
Bilingual in Spanish (read, write & speak)
Handling confidential information
Work collaboratively with others towards mutual objectives
Open attitude to new things and understanding the need for change
