The Position: Accountant AP - Under minimal supervision, incumbent is responsible for a wide variety of accounting transaction entries related to invoice processing. Individual must be able to adapt to demanding environment with ever changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Level of education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred 
  • Experience: 5+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting equivalent, 1+ year of Logistics Accounts Payable a plus
  • Technical skills: SAP, OCR system, Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities:

  • Process logistic invoices ensuring proper approval has been obtained

  • Responsible for processing freight self-bills for 3 company codes
  • Ability to process 80 or more invoices in the SAP workflow on a daily basis
  • Act as back up for AP payment runs / daily manual wires
  • Work with Procurement to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies. (i.e. pricing, quantity and GR)
  • Identify processing inefficiencies and takes corrective action to resolve
  • Demonstrate analytical skills / attention to detail
  • Ensure internal control compliance, risk management and compliance procedures are followed'
  • Review the GRIR analysis report
  • Process journal entries - ensure proper approval and backup is provided
  • Develop relationships necessary to accomplishy key objectives of the role with diplomacy, perseverance and flexibility
  • Compile, sort, and substantiate business transactions and reconcile vendor statements
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Assist team with month and year-end close

The Location: This opportunity is located in Aurora, Illinois, United States only 15 minutes to Naperville.
