To sustainably increase the business profitability and volume Compounds business.
The job holder is responsible for Medical and other related Compounds business from a sales perspective in a global market from three European based production sites, Aycliffe, Helsingborg and Sins while formally reporting to the Head of Sales in the United Kingdom. The role requires knowledge and understanding of a broad range of business activities such as financial, technical, processing, commercial and environmental issues relating to the target market sectors and customer base.
Develop and drive the longer term Medical sales strategy with detail regarding specific customer, competitor and overall market activities including Key Account Development
Establish, maintain and develop contacts and relationships with customers while improving market share by bringing in new customers and applications.
Submit annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts and report monthly upon performance against budget.
Manage credit limits for customers and ensure all payments are made to agreed terms.
Minimize any slow moving or obsolete stock via an effective- sales and forecasting process.
Drive the investigation of customer complaints internally and complete sign-off and approval with the customer within the allotted time period as defined by the business.
Level of education & Experience in general
Graduate standard with ~5 years commercial experience. Experience in medical applications or Compounding would be an advantage. The ability to interact at senior level both internally and externally to drive the Medical -sales strategy is crucial including key account management.
Problem solving, negotiating, influencing and analytical skills to assess customer needs and translate to technical and production / planning / finance / management General IT skills on business systems such as SAP and other relevant software such as Microsoft Office, Sharepoint etc.
Independent worker but with good teamwork skills to pull together the needs of the customers and the business.
