2022 IT Graduate Scheme
September 2022 start
INEOS is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals. It comprises 36 businesses; each with a major chemical company heritage. INEOS’s production network spans throughout the world, 194 sites across 29 countries, generating an annual turnover of around $60 billion.
INEOS products make a significant contribution to saving life, improving health and enhancing standards of living for people around the world. Our businesses produce the raw materials that are essential in the manufacture of a wide variety of goods: from paints to plastics, textiles to technology, medicines to mobile phones - chemicals manufactured by INEOS enhance almost every aspect of our modern life.
Sustainability is fundamental to how we do business, using innovative ideas and processes to increase capacity, while reducing energy used in the petrochemical processes.
The Graduate Opportunity
We are a unique, non-hierarchical organisation giving graduates direct access to senior management. Our open and direct approach to business will give you the opportunity to develop quickly, in a real job with real responsibilities from day one. Your commitment will be rewarded with attractive conditions including on-the-job training, mentoring and access to worldwide events.
Each business unit within INEOS has its own IT function providing support to the whole business. Over time we have recognised the benefits of sharing some areas of IT, enabling us to both reduce cost and improve service.
As a graduate, you will be responsible for providing leadership for 3 areas from the central IT function, with much of the delivery being carried out in the business unit by the local IT teams. The three core areas you will rotate within are: Our Microsoft O365 environment - where we share a single tenant and protection service for our email. Our Wide Area Network - where all INEOS business units are connected to the same managed Network and Remote Access services. Our Cyber Security platform - where we have a common set of tools, training, protection, and a Security Operations Centre. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your international skillset by working closely with our IT team in Belgium.
This role is also part of our core graduate programme and so you will be eligible for our corporate events. These are a great opportunity for your development, enabling you to network and meet other INEOS graduates.
