The Role
We are looking for a creative, proactive and self-motivated Group Social Media Manager to lead on the development and implementation of INEOS’ Group social media strategy driving brand awareness, visibility, and engagement for INEOS across all social media channels.
Having previously worked with agencies we now plan to bring social media channel management in-house for the first time, requiring a dedicated person to oversee all INEOS branded social media channels. This is a significant new undertaking with both high reputational risk and opportunity.
You will be part of the Group Communications Team with the opportunity to support wider Group communications activities.
Location: London Office – Knightsbridge
Key Responsibilities
- Drive awareness, brand reputation and increase engagement across INEOS’ social media channels.
- Lead, develop and implement INEOS’ Group social media strategy working in collaboration with the Group Communications team to define and agree the strategy.
- Manage day-to-day execution of the social media strategy including putting in place a content calendar each month, writing of copy, design of branded video and image assets, arranging sign-off and distributing content across multiple channels.
- Oversee community management across all social media channels in a timely and relevant manner.
- Lead on social media reporting to include a monthly update on activity, impact and identifying areas of improvement, alongside keeping across the latest social media trends and digital channel developments to incorporate into the INEOS strategy.
- Support with The Daily Mile’s social media plan, creating and distributing content in collaboration with the charity.
- Work with other social media owners across INEOS to ensure a consistent approach to posting, including design of assets and tone of voice, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of INEOS’ digital presence, including updating of copy, images and videos, across INEOS.com and INTEL intranet.
- Work alongside the Group Communications Team to deliver an effective internal communications programme and support with the design and distribution of internal communications assets for Group wide activity which can be used across the businesses for examples, posters, banners, social media graphics.
- Feed into wider Group communications and align activity to deliver the best results for INEOS and support with the management of the INEOS brand internally.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- Degree educated.
- 3–5 years experience in a social media, digital communications and marketing function.
- Strong experience in social media management, including proficiency with tools such as Falcon.
- Experience in content creation and confident in using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut.
- Skilled in community management, social media listening and monitoring, website analytics, reporting and digital marketing.
- Comfortable working across website content, including proficiency with DAM & CRM systems.
- Experience in event planning and organisation.
- Knowledge or experience within the petrochemicals sector is desirable.
